This is in todays Fry's Ad for b&m stores. I have no idea if it's online as well. Not sure what's inside although esata suggests it should be a sata drive inside. Not hot if you just need the drive. It's the case with these specific ports that makes it luke warm. If you need firewire, especially those of us who need fw800 (like me ) this is pretty nice. I told the salesperson that this game is sold for $49.99 at dell.ca. After he went inside to check, he told me that he didn't find it on dell.ca. But I told I could show him and asked him to search in dell.ca using the key word "call of duty". Of course, he found it and agreed to PM.

Saw these at a local Rogers Plus store; Broadway & Arbutus location in Vancouver. *Big YMMV* because I'm not sure if this is store specific or nationwide. Saw the Nokia BH-602 at another RP location (Pac. Centre) tagged at $14x.xx. They had several Bluetooth headsets in stock, and clearance items were clearly marked as such.
Not as hot as the $9.99 ones earlier this week, but hopefully not so many will be DOA (I returned my $9.99 Moto H670 today as it was DOA).

i just stopped off at woodbine centre zellers and I overheard the clerk in the electronics department saying to someone on the phone that the red nintendo DS is scanning in at 129 or 139 and when he presses enter it says that its buy 1 get 1 free.... they didnt have any more there (i think he grabbed them off the shelf before i got there) but it seems like it could be working at all zellers.... this is YMMV but it might as well be a good chance to go look for it if ur looking for a cheap DS...

Vistek in Mississauga has their anniversary sale on right now until the end of the weekend (23rd). One of the deals they have on is the *Canon XSi w/18-55mm IS kit and the 55-250mm IS lens for $849*. The price on their website shows up as $949 but if you go to the store or call them it is $849. This is the cheapest I have seen this kit (I think even cheaper than the Best Buy sale a few months ago, someone can correct me if I'm wrong).
I had spotty luck trying to get a PM as a few stores said they wouldn't do it because it was a store specific sale. Finally got one from Future Shop for $829. Of course, YMMV on the PM but $849 is still a great price for this kit.
I am hearing these 55-250 IS lenses are in short supply right now and many stores I have been to have no stock. For kit lenses, this and the 18-55 IS are getting some very positive reviews from photozone.de and fredmiranda.com.

What's most important in a digital picture frame
If you've been considering buying a digital picture frame, you may be seeing some with extras, such as a high-definition output for a wide-screen TV, or even entire gadgets built in. The latest wrinkle is the cell-phone frame: T-Mobile's Cameo, a 7-inch picture frame made by Parrot, can be set up with a dedicated in-frame phone number to which your friends and family send images via picture messaging or email. Photos then appear on the frame. (Click on image at right for a closer look.) It's an interesting idea, but not a cheap one. Besides the frame's $99 price tag, there's a $10 monthly charge for phone service, which T-Mobile says includes unlimited messaging to the frame. The Cameo has 64MB of on-board memory and an expandable slot for a micro-SD memory card. Resist the temptation to buy such bells and whistles. Instead, focus on image quality, how reflective the surface is, how many connections the frame has, and how easy it is to use—the qualities we judge in our digital picture frame Ratings (available to subscribers). How to take that great holiday photo
It's one of the few times when all your friends and family are in the same room at the same time. That makes a holiday gathering the perfect family-portrait photo op. But it's not always easy to squeeze everyone into a single, well-posed, properly-lighted shot. Here are some tips for making the most of the opportunity: If you use a basic point-and-shoot digital camera, or prefer to rely on the camera to do most of the work for you: If your lens has wide-angle capability, this is the time to use it. Zoom the lens out to its widest angle. A 28-mm-equivalent is minimally sufficient; 24-mm is better. (Our digital camera Ratings, available to subscribers, points out which cameras feature wide-angle capabilities.) Then set the camera to program mode. Arrange your group as a triangle, with short or seated people on the ends, heads tilted toward the middle to avoid distortion. Taller or standing people should be in the middle. (If there are too many people to fit into one row, see the more advanced tips below.) Reduce red-eye by placing a light behind you. To add a vintage holiday feel to your portraits, use the setting for sepia tones, if your camera has one.

Blackberry Storm: First Impressions
After many delays and much speculation—most of it wrong—BlackBerry has joined the rest of the cell-phone world by introducing its first touch-screen model, the Storm, available Friday from Verizon for $200 with a two-year contract (minus a $50 rebate). Besides a touch screen, the phone packs a 3.2 megapixel camera with flash; a full HTML Web browser that supports streaming; GPS navigation capability with audible, turn-by-turn directions; and you the ability to edit and create Office documents—something only two other BlackBerrys allow you to do: the Bold and Pearl Flip. It's also a dual-band phone, which makes it one of the very few Verizon phones that will work outside the U.S. Like the iPhone, the Storm presents voicemails as an e-mail-like list, enabling you listen to your messages in any order you choose with just a poke of your finger. The smart-phone arrives in our labs tomorrow (Friday), so we should have information about the Storm's actual performance soon.
